The highest bidder will win two beautiful prints from famed illustrator William Sharpe. Both prints measure 14 3/4" x 18" and are framed and matted. After his service in World War I, Sharpe became a famed illustrator in Berlin. His biting political cartoons provoked threats of imprisonment from the National Socialists. He fled to the United States under a new identity and found work as a courtroom artist and a staff artist at Esquire Magazine.
