Veratrum maackii var. japonicum / Size: 3" pot

The Japanese corn-lily is one of the most graceful and desirable Veratrum species on the market. The 4'-5' flower stalks are very loose and open in habit, and have many lateral branches adorned with reddish, chocolate brown, purple flowers. Blooms June-August, and prefers rich, moist soil and part shade. Exceptionally cold hardy, this plant will grow from Zones 3-8b.
