Salvia sclarea 'Turkestanica' (Group of 6) / Size: 1 gal

Turkestan clary sage is an attractive biennial with delightfully aromatic, wrinkled foliage and dramatic two-lipped, pink and white flowers with remarkable large, papery, pastel lilac-pink bracts. A beautiful and spectacular addition to any summer garden, adding a touch of Mediterranean drama. Thriving on neglect, this multibranched salvia creates bushy clumps up to 3 feet high and 2 feet wide. Allow to self-sow and it will return year after year if it is happy and left to its own devices. Drought tolerant, and hardy to Zones 4-8. Native to Southern Europe and Central Asia.
