Primula sieboldii (Group of 5) / Size: 3" pot

A native of eastern Siberia to Korea and Japan, it grows in open woods and damp meadows where it forms large, ground-covering clumps. The distinctive pale-green, wrinkled leaves are covered in short hairs. The Japanese call it sakura-so, the cherry blossom plant, because the flowers resemble the newly fallen cherry blossoms, and it has been bred and cultivated there from at least the sixteenth century. Hardy to Zone 5.
