Acer tegmentosum / Size: 3.5" trunk diameter, B&B root ball

Acer tegmentosum is an Asian relative of our native striped maple, Acer pensylvanicum. Manchurian striped maple is a low-branching small tree that reaches 20-30' tall and 15-25' wide. It has attractive eight-inch-long yellow and green flower clusters in mid-to-late spring, and its green lobed leaves turn a lovely golden yellow in autumn. However, this tree's claim to fame is its boldly colored and patterned bark. Twigs emerge a shiny blue-green and develop a white vertically striping pattern on the second year's growth. This bark pattern becomes more prominent with age and brightens each winter. This maple is hardy to Zone 5 and prefers a partly sunny to partly shady location in a garden. The green and white striped bark of this lovely maple makes it a stunning specimen year-round!

Tree delivery fees ranges from $350 - 600. See map. Please select your zone at checkout under "Large Plant Delivery." Your entire order is included in this fee.
