Children's Museum Spring Auction

Welcome to the Spring Auction!

 As of Saturday, March 14 the Children's Museum had to close to the public in accordance with efforts being made across our community to slow the spread of COVID-19. This included postponing our annual fundraiser, Twilight Carniball.

In the meantime our team of volunteers and staff have carefully selected some packages from that auction to share with you today! We hope you enjoy, bid, and thank each of you for your support of the Children's Museum during this unprecedented time.

 (PS- You might notice that some packages are missing that you expected to see during Twilight Carniball. Be sure to stay tuned for the event's new date when those packages will be released!)

About the Children's Museum

The Children's Museum is more than a fun place for children to play, indoors and outdoors (though it's definitely that!)-it's an active, involved opportunity for the whole family to grow and learn together. 

At all four locations of the Children's Museum, we inspire growth by engaging families in the power of play, knowing that everyone can learn more-and learn better-when they play together.

From fundamental concepts to socialization skills, research shows that play has a positive impact on a child's academic performance-and the more often they engage in play at an environment like the one shared at the Children's Museum, the more likely they are to find success inside the classroom.

The Children's Museum operates four locations which we hope to reopen to the public as soon as possible after it is deemed safe by the Virginia Department of Health in light of COVID-19. Normally the museum is open Monday through Sunday from 9:30am-5:00pm.
