Hugh Hildesley, Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of Trusts & Estates, joined Sotheby's in 1961 and played an integral role in Sotheby's formative years in New York. He has received an MBE - Member of the Order of the British Empire - in recognition of his services to charity. The award was announced as part of the annual Queen's Birthday Honours, which recognizes the achievements of extraordinary people across the United Kingdom.
