Chef Richards and the winner will work on a mutually agreeable night - does not include Saturdays. Expires 11/8/2021. Executive Chef Craig Richards came to Atlanta in 2005 after five years of training under the renowned first lady of Italian cuisine, Lidia Bastianich. Bastianich, an acclaimed restaurateur and cookbook author with her own PBS cooking series, provided him with invaluable knowledge of the Italian kitchen. In Atlanta he has worked at several of our favorite restaurants including La Tavola, Ecco, and St. Cecilia. St. Cecelia and Chef Richards has been lauded by FOOD & WINE, Zagat, Southern Living, Atlanta Magazine and the AJC as well as named one of the top restaurants in ATL several times. After serving as Exec Chef at St. Cecelia and then working in consulting and leading the Exec Chefs at King and Duke, JCT Kitchen, and more, Richards finally had the chance to open his own restaurant Lyla Lila. The restaurant is an expression of Souther European culinary traditions that reflect Richard's travel and experience. In June of 2020, the restaurant received 3 out of 4 stars and an ""Excellent"" rating from Christiane Lauterback of Atlanta Magazine. Mangia Mangia."
