Two 60 minute private Pilates sessions.
The Pilates method increases strength, flexibility and control of the body. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900's, this method emphasizes the concepts of core strength and stabilization. He called your "powerhouse" is the center of your body or your core, and if strengthened, it offers a solid foundation for any movements in your daily life.
He believed that physical and mental health were inter-related, and his practice was developed to train the mind and the body. Integrating breathing, precision, efficiency of movement, and centering (movement originating from the core), this method will improve your posture, strength, and flexibility.
The Wellness Bank has an experienced team of certified instructors and a full suite of Peak Pilates equipment. The Pilates method may be integrated into your Physical Therapy or Chiropractic sessions.
