About Halo House

 

Founded in 2009, Halo House's mission is to help cancer patients battling leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma who must travel to the Texas Medical Center for life-saving treatment by providing them with temporary housing for only $25/day. They come to Houston because treatment is either not available locally, or it has failed, and treatment at the TMC is their best chance of survival. To date, Halo House has served over 535 families and provided over 34,000 days of housing!

 

Thanks to our wonderful supporters, Halo House's new 42,500 square foot building opened in June 2019, providing over 11,000 days of housing annually.
