Title: Cobalt's Story
Artist: Mark Swain
Medium: Recycled Mixed Media, Acrylic Photo
Dimensions: 30" x 34"
Animal Depicted is Cobalt and his rescue story is below:
"Break the chains!" a concerned neighbor yelled as we free an abandoned and starving dog. He had been left chained behind a house and the owners moved away. He had amazing, beautiful blue eyes - we named him Cobalt. As Donna cut his thick chain, we told him he'd NEVER EVER be left behind again. He went quickly to a foster home where he learned what love was! He got toys, delicious food, love, attention and cuddles while he waited for his forever home - which also came along quickly! His new dad wrote us recently saying, " "Cobalt (now Akira) is doing so well! His foster mom, Jess, took such good care of him. He is filling out nicely and loves being outside. We are still taking it easy because he has his first heart worm treatment on March 23rd, but I can tell his energy levels are high so I'm excited for when he can be much more active. His favorite toy is his wish bone from Treats Unleashed. He loves every new person he meets and dogs too. Such a good boy! I'm very lucky to have him."
Status: Adopted!
