Animal Depicted is Hydro and his story is below:

This sweet little puppy was brought to us, suspected to have parvo. After some testing, we discovered it was not parvo at all, but actually Hydrocephalus, which is a fluid build up in his skull, causing pressure on his brain. But you know we don't give up that easily! He saw a specialist because if he could live a healthy life, you know we'd give him that chance. Sadly, we couldn't save Hydro and our hearts were broken. Cassady, our Executive Director wrote the following on Facebook about Hydro:

"We have thousands of animals walk through our doors each year. We love each of them and always give them our best. This sweet angel is Hydro. He came to us Thursday night after another group reached out to us. Of course we try and take them all but I hold a special place for those eyebrows. Our Vet knew he had hydrocephalus; we sent him to a specialist. After an MRI there was already to much water on the brain and damage to the brain tissue. Even with surgery he would be basically non functioning. So of course I had to make make the worst call and worst part of my job and let him go. But I am so grateful I work at a place where we can try everything possible.
Again, they are all special but some you just fall madly in love within the first 5 seconds. He was that for me. Rest In Peace sweet angel boy.. until we meet again."
