Title: Irma Jean
Artist: Kathy Koerper
Medium: Acrylic
Dimensions: 24" x 30"
Animal Depicted is Irma Jean and her story is below:
Irma Jean was found during the awful heat of August. She'd wandered into someone's back yard in North St. Louis. The person who called us said she couldn't get up. She was likely just exhausted and possibly overheated. However, Donna was able to earn her trust and got her up and walking far enough to get to the Jeep. Again, despite her exhaustion and the severe fly strike on her ears, she was otherwise in fairly good shape. She was a staff/volunteer favorite during her stay at the shelter and she enjoyed being spoiled like a queen by our staff/volunteers. She was often chosen to help new volunteer groups and was a good sport when we'd dress her up in seasonal costumes for pictures! She finally found an amazing foster home, and not long after she found her loving forever home, where she will be spoiled and loved for the rest of her days!
Status: Adopted!
