Animal Depicted is Lexi and her rescue story is below:

Lexi had a long road of pain and suffering before she came to Stray Rescue of St. Louis from the U.S. Virgin Islands. At just a mere 16 pounds, little Lexi was hit by a car. The impact left Lexi's pelvis broken and dislocated, so she needed to undergo emergency surgery as soon as she came to Stray Rescue's Trauma Center. Despite her pain, this sweet little soul remained grateful and seemed to know she had been given a second chance at life. She was so thankful to be comforted and loved. She stole our hearts and we did whatever we could to give her that chance. We thought she may have issues with incontinence with the damage done to her lower half - however, Lexi surprised everyone by making a full recovery! Now Lexi is adopted & spoiled rotten! Her mom says she rules the home! J She will never know pain and suffering ever again, only love!
