Animal Depicted is Guppy and her rescue story is below:

We had been to the house we found her many times before. The property is strewn with trash, broken down cars, and rats. On this particular day, it was very cold and raining. It was raining so hard there was a small flood on the property - our feet were submerged in water soaking our shoes and socks. And there, standing in the water, was a dog staring right at us and wagging her tail. She sensed that we were good people that wanted to help her. She kept coming up to us, but never close enough for us to get a lead on her. She trotted all around us, sensing the urgency, but unable to take that leap of faith. We decided to set a trap for her, and to our surprise, she went right in! Back at the shelter, we discovered that she was an older puppy and loved to play with other dogs. She got used to wearing a leash and was adopted to an amazing family!
