As UB40 sang in Red, Red Wine - "Red, red wine; Goes to my head" - on their Labour of Love album, we've put a little Labour of Love together in this basket just for you. We've placed two bottles of red, a couple of glasses, and snacks for a little break from life. Included:

  • One 750 ml bottle 2010 Chateau de Pitray 2010, a favorite red of some of the RMHC staff. One review notes: Aromas of glossy, spicy oak and plush, ripe dark plums with hazelnut and tarry nuances, too. The flavorful palate delivers in assertive and bold style with a juicy and intense surge of fruit, holding long into the finish.
  • One Bottle 750 ml Loudenotte Pinot Noir. Winemaker's Notes shares: It displays wonderful Morello cherry aromas, combined with slightly toasted notes and spicy hints from the Garrigue. Enjoy with strip steak and sautéed vegetables, teriyaki chicken, Portobello mushrooms, pork loin and soft cheeses." Not a pricey wine, but certainly enjoyable.
  • Two stemmed wine glasses
  • One 7 oz. package of Farmers Market Harvest Vegetable Shelf Stable Cheese
  • One 7 oz. package of Farmers Market Chipotle Pepper Shelf Stable Cheese
  • One 7.05 oz. package of Carr's brand Cracker collection
