About The Muny

The Muny is an amphitheater located in St. Louis, Missouri. The theatre seats 11,000 people with about 1,500 free seats in the last nine rows that are available on a first come, first served basis. The Muny seasons run every year from mid-June to mid-August.

About Mike Isaacson

Mike Isaacson is in his 10th season as the Artistic Director and Executive Producer of The Muny, and he is the third person to hold this position in The Muny's 103 year history. For nearly 25 years, Isaacson has been producing on Broadway, in London and many national tours. He has produced 23 Broadway shows, and is the recipient of Six Tony awards, including two for Best Musical. When Broadway resumes, he is a producer of "David Byrne's American Utopia" -- which also now may be seen on HBO in a film by Spike Lee -- and Mathew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker in Neil Simon's "Plaza Suite." He has served on the Board of Governors of The Broadway League as well as the Tony Administration committee. Mike has been honored for "Excellence in the Arts" by the Arts and Education Council of St Louis, and has received the Commercial Theatre Institute's prestigious Robert Whitehead award in recognition of his producing career.
