Cattlemen's Choice-Choice to FLUSH one of the Lazy 3 Red Angus cows. At Lazy 3 Cattle we have been building a foundation of Red Angus cows for several years. The recognition of Red Angus cattle around the world for their heat tolerance, maternal ability, longevity and commercial cattle appeal were a logical choice for us. For a long time, many of you have associated Cheramie Viator with successful and large-scale cattle operations around the country (and world). When it came time to build our own program, we have focused on the traits that keep cattlemen in business for the long term: fertility, good feet, cattle with muscle, maternal ability and the ability to survive on forage. Our Red Angus cows have largely been assembled from U2 Ranch and Silver Spur Ranch. Focusing on large contemporary groups and the commercial cowman have been what made these programs successful. We whole heartedly believe there is an opportunity to build fresh new Red Brangus and Ultra Red genetics through the Red Angus cow base we have assembled. Because of this, we are offering the choice to flush any of our Red Angus cows.(And who knows, a Red Angus breeder could sneak in and buy this flush opportunity!)A progressive buyer will have the opportunity to select a cow from our Red Angus herd to flush. The buyer is responsible for sire selection (although Cheramie is happy to discuss ideas), semen and all flushing costs. Lazy 3 Cattle Co. will deliver the donor to an embryo transfer facility within 60 miles of Bryan, Texas. Seller will guarantee six embryos and three pregnancies if flush and transfer work is done by an accredited embryo transfer technician in the U.S. If the flush produces more than six embryos, the flush purchaser will own the first ten embryos and Lazy 3 will share any embryos over ten. Selection of which cow to flush will need to be made by March 30, 2020.
