Weekend getaway to an 18th-century estate and winery in Virginia

Barboursville Vineyards in bucolic Barboursville, VA, is an 18th century estate, that is sure to be a breathtaking climax to a beautiful and historic country drive from any direction. Located two hours from Washington D.C., 75 minutes from Richmond, and 30 minutes from Charlottesville, makes it an effortless getaway!

The winery estate is comprised of two tasting rooms, The Discovery Tasting Room and Library 1821, Palladio Restaurant, the 1804 Inn and cottages, all nestled among the historic Landmark Ruins of one of Thomas Jefferson's true architectural masterpieces, the mansion he designed for Governor James Barbour. Stroll the splendid grounds and get a glimpse of the storied past.

This package includes:

• A private wine tasting for (2) with Barboursville Vineyard GM and resident winemaker, Luca Paschina in the 1821 Tasting room
• An overnight stay for (2) in a suite at the 1804 Inn
• A four-course, wine-paired dinner for (2) at the Palladio Restaurant

This package is valid on a Friday only and on a mutually agreeable date. Redeemable from January 15, 2021, through March 31, 2021, and November 1, 2021, through December 24, 2021. Check in to the suite at the 1804 Inn is no earlier than 1:00 pm. The wine tasting with Luca Paschina is for the mid-late afternoon followed by dinner at Palladio. Reservations are required for the 1804 Inn, Library 1821 tasting, and Palladio Restaurant. Taxes and gratuities are not included. Travel to and from the vineyard is not included.
