The blue jay is a passerine bird in the family Corvidae, native to North America. It resides through most of eastern and central United States, although western populations may be migratory. Resident populations are also found in Newfoundland, Canada while breeding populations can be found across southern Canada.

Luz finds art to be a "divine spark". Her style is based on common life, work and the search for the wonders and mysteries in nature and daily life. It is a series that is continuous in process and deeply intimate. In her continuous interrogation, you will find light that manifests in color, the technique called ChromaDepth.

She studied Fine Arts at the Guerrero Academy of Arts in Bogotá, Colombia. After finishing her basic education and training, she found a refuge of inspiration in the mountains outside the city, as well as a clearer and broader vision of her future as a person and artist.
