Bio-

Broadway Bill Lee, Famed Radio Personality for WCBS-FM Lee grew up in Cleveland, listening to top rock 'n roll artists and DJ's like Alan Freed and Mad Daddy. He worked in bands during the 60s and then joined the radio business in 1972.

Eventually he programmed WTIC-FM in Hartford and became the DJ at KFRC in San Francisco, WLOL in Minneapolis, and KPKE in Denver before landing the "afternoon drive" slot in NY where he remained a prominent presence until the late 80s. After another stint in San Francisco, he returned to NY by spring of 1996.

Lee did charity work for organizations such as The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The March of Dimes and The Manhattan Society.

He received The Billboard Radio Magazine award for "Radio Personality of the Year," as well as "Personality of the Year" from Radio & Records Magazine and two New York Metro Air Awards for "Best Afternoon Drive Show."
