Following the silent auction we will have dinner in the ballroom with doors open on all four sides of the event where Zack Krone will host a fun filled live auction portion of the evening as well as hearing from our Head of School, Jim Berkompas, on the upcoming project and the state of the school.

Sails for Stoneybrooke
All proceeds from the Annual Gala will go toward "Sails for Stoneybrooke." Shade sails will enable our Stoneybrooke children to enjoy more outdoor time with less restrictions and limitations due to heat exposure and direct sunlight. Our kindergarten and early education playgrounds will benefit from sails to provide protection for play structures and outdoor centers for learning.
We are also establishing an outdoor classroom that will be shared by our elementary and junior high students. Along with sails, a sidewalk and new gated entrance is needed in order to fully utilize this valuable new classroom space.

Zack Krone - Auctioneer for 2020 Gala
Zack is the out of shape Stoneybrooke Dad of Kindergartener Monty Krone. Zack never thought in his wildest dreams that being sarcastic and fast talking were actually job skills that would afford him the opportunity to send his son to a private school. At best he thought it would lead to open mic nights and supporting roles in community theater. But here we are... By the Grace of God over the past 10 years Zack has traveled the country raising money for schools and non-profits. He has built his firm: California Coast Auctions to the point where His team conducts over 250 events per year making it the most sought-after benefit auction firm in the country...crazy right?
He also holds several auction records for the highest selling pieces of Banksy street art and holds the record for music memorabilia by completing the sale of Kurt Cobain's guitar used in the 1993 MTV Unplugged concert for $6.1 Million dollars
Special Music led by Tony TerBorg

Tony TerBorg got his start in music when he jokingly told his mom she really needed to have a keyboard player in her touring variety show. The joke was on him when two weeks later he got home from High School and there was a Fender Rhoades set up in the living room with a note saying 'I took your advice, you're hired. We leave in two weeks. - Mom" Since that inauspicious beginning and subsequent trial by fire, Tony has continued to cultivate his passion for the keys. He has toured nationally and internationally, performed on most of the live music stages in the So Cal area and has been a featured performer on more than 100 recordings. Of note, he was the Musical Director(MD) and keyboardist for Grammy Artist Jackie De Shannon's last album and tour, He has played and recorded with RCA Recording Artist Steve Gillette, was MD and Keyboardist for internationally known 6-string violinist Robert Anthony Aviles and was the house keyboardist for both LA's Clear Lake Audio and Orange County's iconic For The Record recording studios. He has performed with and opened for artists such as Greg Allman, Elvin Bishop, Ronnie James Dio, Susannah Hoffs from the Bangles, Graham Nash, The Coasters, The Platters and more.
Currenlty, Tony holds the position of second chair pianist Sunday mornings at Coast Bible Church, a position, and a passion, he dearly loves.
