Winter Raptors of Boulder: Put together a group of 3 and head out to Boulder County with Sheridan Samano for a driving tour to view some of the best winter Birds of Prey.

Discuss habitat and behavior while practicing ID skills. Expect to see many raptors including Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Bald Eagle, Ferruginous Hawk, and Northern Harrier. There were a surprise pair of Mute Swans on the 2020 January trip!

This is a 3 hour trip and will be guided by Sheridan Samano, co-founder of Reefs to Rockies. January and February are the best times to see these raptors, and trip must be scheduled and taken before March 15, 2021 for a maximum of 3 participants.

With combined degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and Biology and more than 15 years of global travel industry experience, Sheridan brings passion, enthusiasm and environmental stewardship expertise to Reefs to Rockies.
