Laguiole is a small mountain village in southwestern France that began producing cutlery in 1829 and is now famed for its quality and prestige. From France's legendary knife maker Laguiole en Aubrac, this steak knife set and waiters corkscrew are handcrafted by the work of a master cutler. The Laguiole en Aubrac 6-Piece Mixed Wood Steak Knives set includes six handmade steak knives with blades forged from ultra strong Swedish Sandvick steel. Each knife features the distinctive Laguiole bee on the bolster and each handle is made of a different wood: violet wood, rosewood, juniper, boxwood, wenge and green oak. The creation of the Laguiole En Aubrac Waiters Corkscrew Wine Opener in Olivewood begins with shaping of the wood handle and concludes with fitting the stainless steel implements. This item is made of ultra strong, durable Sandvik stainless steel and handcrafted olivewood. Restrictions: Subject to sales tax.
