Mrs. Ager's 1st Grade Class Presents:
"Aspiration in School"
Inspired by the sea and learning, Mrs. Ager's class created an aspiration seascape. First Graders learn individually, as well as, in small and large groups. They are always moving forward as our school of fish, aspiring for greatness. To create the sea, students took turns mixing four shades of acrylic blue paint in short vertical strokes. They blended the colors with a sea sponge and added a touch of white. Each student created an individual fish by painting the base of their fish with a yellow acrylic paint. Next, they used a dark yellow acrylic pen to add details. All of the fish have been arranged on a 30" x 30" wooden panel and the bottom of the piece was signed by the artists of Room 12.
