Two (2) Virtual Tutoring Sessions

Two virtual tutoring sessions in English/reading/writing to a high school student or college student. During each tutoring session, I can assist the student with their current school assignments, and/or we can do SAT practice. I can also provide guidance in basic organizational skills and study strategies.

A bit about me: I hold a B.A. in English literature from the University of Georgia and a Masters in the teaching of English from Loyola University Maryland. For the past year and a half, I've taught English at Stevenson University and at Howard Community College. Prior to teaching at the college level, I developed curricula for online courses and taught high school English in Baltimore County. In my early twenties, I spent several years teaching English overseas.

I'm very experienced in the realm of online teaching/learning, and I'm eager to help students who may be struggling with their schoolwork due to challenges posed by the current pandemic. I enjoy working with students of diverse backgrounds and with all skill levels.

Each tutoring session is one hour in length and will be conducted via Zoom, so it is important that the student has access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
