Winter Park Resort was voted #1 Ski Resort in North America by USA Today in 2018 and 2019. It is a 90 minute drive from DIA. The base area sits at 9,000 feet elevation, with the summit at 12,000. Average snowfall is 315 inches. The resort features over 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, with plenty of runs for every ability level. They offer an excellent ski school and are home to the National Sports Center for the Disabled. Part of the Ikon Pass family, the resort has added many new features including a 10 person gondola and on mountain restaurants, perfect for your apres ski afternoon or evening. Many other activities too such as tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, etc.
