Music Lessons

Mike Parsons will donate a jam class for five friends who want to learn to play bluegrass/folk/country music together!! Lessons will come with 5 books and 6 weekly classes on banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and bass. All classes are held at Bozeman Music Lessons, 2011 N 22nd Ave Suite 4A.

When Mike was nine, he, his father, and his grandfather began playing the fiddle. The Parsons Family Band later formed and ten-year-old Mike, his mother, sisters, and brothers played barn dances, gyms, and shows across Idaho. Winning the junior Idaho State and Golden Spike Fiddle championships as a youngster, Mike went on to play professionally as an adult. He plays a variety of bands on mandolin, guitar, banjo, bass, dobro and steel guitar.

Mike has been a patient and passionate teacher of music for more than 40 years. His enthusiasm for sharing music shows, as he offers customized instruction to help you reach your playing goals. Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced musician, Mike can help you unlock your potential with a solid background in music theory and technique.
