"The framed photo is titled "While in Burgundy." It is a manipulated SX-Polaroid print. Once manipulated it was scanned and printed on fine art photographic paper.

This particular image was taken in 2005 when Polaroid was still producing an SX-70 film that one could manipulate after the exposure was made in camera and the photo was ejected from the camera. One had a couple of hours to use the tip of a spoon or a wooden sculpting tool or similar item to press on the mylar surface of the print moving the still malleable inks underneath to make a more creative look to the photo. Highlights could be accentuated or lines blurred. Fun and almost painterly looks. The manufacturing of the film changed soon after 2005 and the inks no longer responded in the same way. The days of this creativity ended."
