Two magnificent framed prints from Grayson friend and 2021 GROW Honoree, King Saladeen.

King Saladeen is a widely acclaimed Philadelphia-based artist whose work is shown, commissioned, and collected globally. Both works are printed on Somerset Enhanced Velvet 505 Gram Paper, making way for each intricate color to pop off the wall.

Fight for Equality framed print. Size 37.75H"x 30.75" Released in 2021. Edition of 99.

This original work was started in 2017 at a point in which the inequality in this country was reaching a boiling point.

Most people know King for his JP The MoneyBear, however, Fight For Equality showcases a true transition and brings a first look at his artistic translation of human expression. It depicts a deeper and more meaningful side of Saladeen and his work. Through this piece Saladeen shows his struggle, journey, and what his life is like as a young Black father.

Stronger Together framed print. Size 38H" x 32W" Released in 2022. Edition of 99.

These past years have shown us that, no matter how different we are inside and out, we are, Stronger Together. The fifty bears depicted each represent one our 50 states. As the past shows, with all types of people coming from different genders, races, and religions, working together can only lead to achieving our goals.

This original work was created in March 2020 as a commission for one of his closest collectors. It was really challenging for King to complete 50 bears, all with different personalities, and it took months to complete.
