Here's your chance to experience first-hand what our land protection staff does to monitor the Preserve's boundaries. You and a friend will spend between a half and a full day with the Preserve's Land Project Manager, Ed Pestone as you learn how to navigate using a survey map and elements on the ground such as stone walls, hedgerows, fence lines and property blazes. You'll learn how to identify property corners, understand how property lines are signed (posting protocol), and use a mobile app for GPS. You'll go off trail and get to see hidden locations that others rarely visit - and all with a purpose!
Item note: Must be 18 years old to participate or be accompanied by an adult if under 18. Limit two people. Please bring your own lunch/snacks and water. Expires 9/12/21.
