I lead with curiosity and a spirit of adventure, but I didn't plan to have three distinct careers. I just followed the "breadcrumbs" and the nudge inside my soul, and I want to help you do the same.

An NBC story about Afghanistan led me to leave a job I loved in television (Career 1), wanting instead to work with the women and children inside the story. That led me to a dream job at UNICEF (Career 2) working with my three greatest loves - children, travel and sports. Delivering my twin girls led me to take a two-year leave of absence from the UN, a pause in the travel and intensity, so I could stay home with my babies and reflect on how I would re-approach my next steps. It was then I met my friend Allison, also a mother of twins, and together with Bobby and Craig we created apple seeds, a business for families with children newborn-5 years old (Career 3). I wanted to have a professional identity and also be with my kids all day. So I did. Some days I was utterly exhausted playing the roles of a professional and a mother, but in retrospect, it offered the work-life blend I was desperately seeking. I've continued to seek that blend by taking on epic adventures every year, and turning a personal passion for exercise, travel and helping those in need, into the nonprofit Team See Possibilities. My energy these days is focused on expanding the growth of our songs for seeds music program across the country.

But I've decided to give some time to help other who want to learn from my experience.

I have learned a lot about growing from transitions, starting a business (or two) and taking ownership of my personal and professional journey. I've taken all of my learnings and put them into a workshop designed to help people launch their own meaningful growth path.
