Framed Original Watercolor

Cynthia Groya studied painting and printmaking at SACI, in Florence, and graduated with a BFA from Drake University in Fine Art and Social Philosophy, and also studied printmaking at Parsons. She paints in various mediums and experiments with digital technology, and has had solo and group exhibitions of her work. She has been an executive director of a graphic design firm and creative director at an advertising agency, and was co-writer/art director and co-producer of an original musical comedy ExtraOrganary ExtraOrganza, in St. Louis. Cynthia founded Cultural Arts in Progress! Multidisciplinary Art School in Yardley in 1996, and served as Executive Director and Lead Teacher from 1996 to 2006. While a mentor for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen Share program she co-created a national award-winning video on Hunger (The Red). Groya has worked as an art educator at the St. Louis Art Museum, Newtown Friends School, Bucks County Community College, developed an Art Curriculum for Bucks County Home-Schooled Network, and is a volunteer teacher for ArtSpace, a division of HomeFront.
