Plains Game Hunting
A typical day will begin with a full breakfast, trip into the field to hunt, a relaxing lunch back at the lodge and another afternoon plains game hunting experience. The day is completed with sundowners (cocktails) around the boma (fireplace sitting area), appetizers and dinner with courses inspired by the local South African culture with fresh venison, chicken, beef and vegetables and local deserts. The winning bidder is responsible for the cost of all trophy fees.

Lodge All-Inclusive
Enjoy a 7-night stay in a hunting lodge designed with the American hunter in mind. Each hunter will have their own room and bathroom. Savor local inspired gourmet meals and superb South African wine and South African beer in the main dining area. Relax by the boma and share stories about your successful day of hunting. Located in Vaalwater, in the Limpopo province of South Africa.

Hunt thousands of acres of South African bushveld for up to 50 plus species of Plains game and dangerous game. The most popular time of the year to hunt is late May through the end of August when temperatures are cooler. February through April is warmer as well as October and November. Since South Africa is below the equator, the seasons are opposite of those in the United States.

Your Plains Game hunting experience is available early February through November for the 2022 or 2023 seasons.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Travel must be completed within two years from the date of purchase. Reservations are subject to availability, and must be booked a minimum of 60 days prior to travel. Children as young as 10 who have taken a hunter safety course are eligible to hunt with a parent. A deposit of $1,000 per hunter is required to reserve hunting dates. The $1,000 deposit goes 100% towards trophy fees for animals harvested at the end of the trip. trip. Hunters are required to harvest a minimum of any three animals per the trophy fee price sheet. Non-hunting observers can be added at the rate of $1400 per person. Ground transportation is the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated. Certificates cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Purchases through charity fundraisers are non-refundable and packages cannot be resold.

Not included with this trip: Trophy fees for animals harvested or wounded or lost in addition to the animals included in this package, airfare, accommodations before or after the hunt, dip and pack or other taxidermy services, trophy export costs, rifle permits (if you bring your own rifle), gratuities, personal or medical insurance, observers or non-hunters.
