Meaning "village" in Hebrew, K'Far is an all-day cafe and bakery inspired by the food, energy, and warmth of Israeli bakeries that chef Mike Solomonov experienced at his very first kitchen job: working at a bakery in his hometown just outside of Tel Aviv, K'Far Saba.
By day, K'Far offers counter service with baked goods like borekas and rugelach, plus toasts made with traditional Yemenite kubaneh bread and Jerusalem bagel sandwiches. After 11 am, the all-day menu expands to a range of salads and grain bowls. Dinner becomes full-service with a more traditional Israeli cafe vibe, serving dishes like Spicy Yemenite Cauliflower, T'Bit - the Iraqi beef & rice Sabbath casserole, and Persian Lamb Shank.
The bar at K'Far celebrates low-proof aperitif cocktails, as well as vermouth, sherry, and other boutique wines.
