2020 Coveted Couture Virtual Paddle Raise

Dear Mint Museum Supporter,

We are truly grateful that you had committed to attend The Mint Museum's 2020 Coveted Couture Gala on Saturday, April 25.  We are so sad not to be able to celebrate with you on one of the most beautiful, elegant, and festive evenings on the springtime calendar in Charlotte. As you know, the gala is also our single-largest annual fundraiser. Contributions raised during this event are used over the course of the year to fund innovative programming, docent-led tours for school groups, and free access for the community every Wednesday evening. These critical dollars also help subsidize our special exhibitions, as well as the salaries of our talented, award-winning staff. We really need you to support us this year-just as you would if we were all together. To make that easier, we invite you to participate in our Coveted Couture paddle raise virtually. 

Many of you use the paddle raise to renew your Crown Society membership, and those renewals have never been more crucial. There are many wonderful benefits listed at each level of giving, so please strongly consider an increased level of support over last year. We need as many potential upgrades as possible in the current environment. And know this: You won't be alone! Our generous Board of Trustees are planning to actively participate in the paddle raise and, in addition, we are pleased to announce that 100% of our Board has recently invested in a Bridge Gift fundraising initiative to donate "above and beyond" their normal contributions to help the museum ensure its long-term sustainability during this time of crisis. We are so grateful for their efforts and thank you in advance for yours. We need you now more than ever, so please don't hold back.
