Upper School Spanish Faculty Member, Marc Rando P '18, '20, will prepare a delicious and authentic Spanish Tapas Fiesta at your home for 8-10 people. Paella prepared onsite with instruction so the host may learn to prepare the dish again!
Tapas Menu:
Olives stuffed with anchovies: Briny and delicious - Great in a martini!
Chorizos con garbanzos: Spicy sausage cooked with chickpeas; crushed tomatoes; and smoked paprika served on garlic rubbed baguette.
Trio of cheeses imported from Spain:
Artisan Aged Machego Cheese - emblematic sheep's milk cheese from central Spain.
Queso Payoyo Cheese from Adalucia - mix of goat and sheep's milk.
Idiazabal Sheep's Milk Cheese - Lightly Smoked from Basque Country.
Sliced Jamon Serrano: Unique to Spain; these hams are cured in the mountain air and sliced thin.
Final Plate:
Paella: Chicken; select vegetables and seafood cooked with rice and seasoned with saffron.
