Hand Thrown Earthenware Pottery by Clary Illian

Here we have a beautiful earthenware pottery place setting by the living legend, Clary Illian. Clary apprenticed at the famed Leach Pottery in England from 1964 to 1965 before returning to her native Iowa. Considered by many to be a National Treasure, Clary's work is highly sought after.
The earthenware jar is marked with Clary's signature stamp. https://www.northernclaycenter.org/artist/clary-illian

This item includes four place settings - four plates, four bowls and four cups.
