Our Mission
To provide excellent food prepared with the freshest ingredients while engaging ourselves whole heartedly into the community, one oyster, one person, and one neighborhood at a time.

Rick Allison and Jorge Esguerra have been close friends for over thirty years. Rick, Managing Member Operations, specializes in restaurants development and operations. Jorge, Managing Member Finance, is a certified public accountant that specializes in finance operations of cyber-security companies. Rick and Jorge discussed several times over the years the possibility of opening a restaurant. Finally, in 2014 the opportunity presented itself, so Rick and Jorge teamed up to establish their first restaurant, King Street Oyster Bar. Since then they have been committed to creating, operating and growing a restaurant group with a community driven vision and strong core values.

The concept for King Street Oyster Bar is based on an overall lack of good seafood concepts in Northern Virginia and a void of oyster bars in Loudoun County. On May 5, 2016 King Street Oyster Bar opened in Historic Downtown Leesburg and since then has become "one of the best oyster bars west of DC" according to Virginia Living Magazine, Best of Virginia 2018 issue. Also, a finalist for Main Street Small Business of the Year (2018) for Loudoun County, Virginia. On November 2, 2017 King Street Oyster Bar's second restaurant opened in Historic Downtown Middleburg.

Now, King Street Oyster Bar specializes in bringing fresh oysters from both the West and East Coasts of the US and Canada to the communities we call home. On any given day, we offer 12 varieties, which we get no more than 24 hours out of water from the East Coast, and no more than 48 hours out of water from the West Coast. It's a quality and freshness you can taste.
