Napatree Point is a 1.5-mil long sandy spit that extends west from Watch Hill's town center and includes Sandy Point, which shelters Little Narragansett Bay and has made Watch Hill a popular and picturesque harbor with dockage, deep-water moorings and a yacht club around which the business district has grown. Stroll Bay Street which is lined with restaurants, cafes, shops and stop for ice cream on the way to "The Flying Horse Carousel", one of the oldest merry-go-rounds in America.
