The Atlantic Beach Police Department is offering the opportunity to go behind the scenes on patrol. The winner will:

Get to ride with an Officer in the Patrol Division to see what officers do each day in the Atlantic Beach community

Will ride in the ABPD search and rescue boat along the marsh area around city parks and Florida Paddling Trails system.

Ride with an officer on ATV patrol to see how officers work on the beachfront and in our nature parks to provide safety and security in the Atlantic Beach recreational areas.

Winners will also receive a commemorative gift bag as well as the opportunity to get their picture taken with each officer in the patrol vehicle they rode in that day.

*The winner must complete the Ride-along Application, be 18 years or older, have no felony convictions or outstanding warrants, no pending criminal charges or misdemeanor convictions for a period of five years from the last conviction/incident, and must read, understand, and sign the Ride-along Program Rules, the Ride-along Program Release Form, and the Security Awareness Acknowledgement form. The Ride-along will last between 6-8 hours and can be scheduled from 8am and conclude no later than 4am.
