Mercedes-Benz Stadium Artwork

AT&T in partnership with Living Walls has generously donated a 10ft x 10ft piece of original Mercedes-Benz Stadium artwork, and to top it all off they have offered to give Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta $2,000 IN ADDITION to what the artwork sells for in the auction!!

Like many others, AT&T believes in rallying around the historic Westside. Knowing that art has the power to connect people on so many levels,

a mural indicative of the Westside and its roots was the perfect way to bring color into the stadium. Viewers walking up to this mural immerse themselves into the space, discovering the many nuances of the mural.

From the layers of clouds, to the geometric shapes and facets found on this stadium, you can see a growing and changing Atlanta.

The two diamond motifs that reflect each other represent the rooftop of the old Dome. Those two shapes anchor the cityscape in between to open the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the community that surrounds it. The signature retractable roof, the map of the Westside, the colorful brushstrokes and detail carry this composition before you. The mural is designed to guide the viewer along a landscape that is provocative, striking, bright and interactive.

Mural commissioned by AT&T in partnership with Living Walls for opening of Mercedes Benz Stadium. The artwork was displayed at Mercedes-Benz Stadium beginning in November, 2018, and hung through January, 2020.

THE ARTIST - FAATIMAH STEVENS

A designer, painter, and illustrator, Faatimah Stevens has her hand in many creative avenues. From visual branding to curation, being involved in the creative process

is her true purpose. Although a Memphis native, she currently resides in Atlanta after studying at Atlanta College of Art and SCAD and completing a BFA in Studio Art at Georgia State University. The primary motivation for her work is to provide a universal articulation shared through a visual language.
