Kate McSorley is a local woodworker creating art using a scroll saw. Each piece is unique and free-hand cut using the natural color variants in Poplar to suggest a horizon line. Once cut, the Poplar is backed with a hardwood veneer and Baltic Birch. She makes her own frames often using Oak or Mahogany, and completes the piece with three coats of gloss varnish.
This piece is a design of cherry blossoms featuring Poplar, Mahogany, and Baltic Birch.
It measures 12.5" wide by 10.5" tall and is 1.125" deep. It is ready to hang on your wall!
