The award-winning Broadway writing team of Russell Kaplan and Sarah Wordsworth (In Transit, Frozen Jr., Elf on the Shelf The Musical, and more) will compose an original song just for you! Whether marking a milestone or surprising a special someone, an original song is the perfect way to take your special occasion to the next level! The winner will personally consult with Russ and Sara to guide the lyrics and style of the song and will receive a composers' demo recording and sheet music.

Russ Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth are critically acclaimed musical theater writers, and one half of the writing team behind the groundbreaking Broadway musical In Transit, the first a cappella musical ever to appear on Broadway (along with James-Allen Ford and Academy Award winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez). In its original Off-Broadway run, In Transit received the most award nominations of any Off-Broadway musical in 2010, including Lucille Lortel, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle nominations.

Sara and Russ are also the creators of Elf on the Shelf, The Musical, launching on national tour this holiday season. Other works include the forthcoming family musical Dory Fantasmagory, Dear Albert Einstein (Off Broadway Alliance nominee "Best Family Show"); songs for the play High School Confidential (published by Dramatic Publishing), and numerous stand-alone cabaret songs. They are currently developing the alternative rock musical The Clearwaters with playwright Daniel John Kelley. They were finalists for the 2019 Eugene O'Neill Musical Theatre Conference and the 2014 Fred Ebb Award for musical theatre writing.
