Select a title from your library shelf and your hosts will create a gourmet meal inspired by one of the great books. Remember the clam chowder Ishmael and Queequeg shared or the flaming plum pudding at the Cratchit family table? Who can forget the pink and white ice cream in Little Women or Hemingway's "oysters with the strong taste of the sea"?

Your dinner will be similarly memorable as your four hosts create and serve a sumptuous meal inspired by one of the classics or something more contemporary. The setting is in a high-rise home at 2550 Lakeview with an incomparable view in Chicago; date to be mutually agreed upon. The event includes UBER service to and from the party for all your guests in the Chicago-land area.

Past dinners have been based on the books The Great Gatsby, Like Water for Chocolate, The Hundred Foot Journey, The Paris Wife, The Godfather, Confederacy of Dunces, 1776, Under the Tuscan Sun, The Wizard of Oz, Dracula, A Moveable Feast, The Sound of Music, and A Christmas Carol. Dress in costumes to match your book selection or dress for a regular dinner party, the choice is yours!
