Uday Mathur (Ayan, K, and Annika, 2) will teach your child how to ride a bike during two sessions in the AVS parking lot! No prior experience is required as this class is meant to get your kids rolling on two wheels from a standing start! You provide the kid, bike, and helmet, and Uday will provide the expertise and frustration tolerance! Uday can also advise on bike and helmet purchases for those who need it.

Uday taught his own two kids to ride bikes safely starting at age 2 and has also taught other children and a few bike-fearing adults how to get started bike riding. Ayan was riding his bike back and forth from his day care (six miles round trip) every day before coming to AVS, a feature of Uday's commute that he dearly misses.

1st day (Saturday, October 3)

Class A:

9:15am-9:30am - individual bike set up
9:30am-10:30am - safety and learning how to balance
10:30am-10:45am - wrap up

Class B:

10:45am to 11:00am - individual bike set
11:00am to 12:00pm - safety and learning how to balance
12:00pm to 12:15pm - wrap up

2nd day (Saturday, October 17)

Class A:

9:15am to 9:30am - individual bike set up
9:30am to 10:30am - safety and learning how to pedal
10:30am to 10:45am - wrap up

Class B:

10:45am to 11:00am - individual bike set up
11:00am to 12:00pm - safety and learning how to pedal
12:00pm to 12:15pm - wrap up
