Join Mohonk Preserve's Research Ecologist Megan Napoli for a guided birding tour of the Mohonk Preserve Foothills. To really take advantage of the spectacle that is spring migration, the birding tour should take place in mid-May, but timing can be adjusted to fit your schedule. Tour length can also be adjusted to fit your style varying from 2 to 4.5 miles. Tour will start from the Testimonial Gateway and head into the Foothills grasslands and forest; longer tour option will head to Duck Pond. Tour will last around 2 to 3 hours. Not only will you learn about the extensive bird diversity of the Foothills and the phenology legacy started by Daniel and Keith Smiley, but you will help collect valuable phenology data for the Conservation Science department! Coffee, tea, and a small snack will be provided. Maximum number: 6.

Expires: 8/30/20
