A TEQUILA DINNER & EVENING WITH FRIEDA KAHLO!

Come and be inspired by our storyteller, Beatrice De Franco, who makes the famous artist, Frieda come alive as we drink Golden Tequila Margaritas and munch on homemade chips, guacamole, and salsa. Beatrice will regale us with stories and authentic acting dressed as only Frieda could, and entertain with true Mexican authenticity!!

As we listen to Frieda's favorite composer, Augustin Lara, and sit on the outdoor porch, complete with decorations of the 50's, we will relax into another era. This is our goal: to take you back to the time of old Mexico!

As we venture into the evening, authentic Frieda recipes gathered by her daughter in law, will be served at dinner:

• Starter: Fideo Soup with a light sprinkling of Chipotle Peppers
• On the Side: Poblano peppers with Oaxaca cheese
• Main Course: A rich Mole with organic chicken or charred Veggies, Re-fried black beans, Mexican Rice, and homemade masa tortillas
• Dessert: You'll finish the dinner with a sumptuous dessert of Tequila & coconut flan, a small cup of strong coffee with whipped cream.

This item admits one person to the event and there are four (4) seats remaining for this dinner.

There is a Frieda Kahlo exhibit at the Dupage College from June 1 to August 30th, 2020. Tickets are $18 and $35. You may want to schedule this after or before our dinner!
