This quilt represents how our Sound Connections(r) music therapy programs brings together different people that all have unique and important qualities. Let's put our helping hands together and support music therapy!
"Arigatoo" means "thank you" in Japanese. This quilt is also a thank you from Japanese people to everyone that supported Japan after the Kobe Earthquake in 1995 and the Northeastern Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011.
This quilt was designed by Noriko O'Donnell and her friends after consulting with Ms. Reiko Yamaguchi, a famous quilt artist in Japan, and music therapist Minda Gordon.
Winners may pick up art from The Cultural Center.
All funds will support Sound Connections(r) music therapy for children with special needs.
