Limited edition of 12,500 enhanced reproductions of an oil gesso on canvas painting by Edna Hibel, "Fleurs d' Or." Beautifully displayed in a 17" x 19" gold frame.

Edna Hibel, a painter of sentimental pictures of children, has had a more than 60-year career as painter and lithographer and promoter of peace through exhibitions of her artwork. Born in 1917 in Boston, MA, Hibel went on to study painting at the Boston Museum School of Fine Art, graduating in 1939. She founded the Edna Hibel Museum of Fine Art in 1977 in Jupiter, FL on the campus of Florida Atlantic University, which today hold many of Hibel's works alongside paintings by other artists.

In 1995, she was commissioned by the Foundation of the U.S. National Archives to commemorate the 75th anniversary of women receiving the universal right to vote. At the ceremony, Ms. Lucy Baines Johnson referred to Hibel as the "Heart and Conscience of America."

She died on December 5, 2014 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
